Investment agreements worth RM5.5bil to boost Pahang economy.
Pahang government has signed investment agreements worth RM5.5bil with various partners in its efforts to spur economic growth.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said these agreements were signed between Pahang statutory bodies and foreign investor companies from Singapore, China, Thailand and South Korea.
Six projects will be implemented including a manganese alloy production plant project covering an area of 40.4ha in Gebeng, with an investment value of RM1bil, under an agreement that Perbadanan Setiausaha Kerajaan (PSK) signed with Ciptaan Gabungan Global Sdn Bhd (Golden Prosperous International Pte Ltd) from Singapore.
PSK also signed an agreement with Golden Sea Farm (M) Sdn Bhd from Thailand to develop a 64.7ha shrimp farm aquaculture park in Rompin, which has an investment value of RM40 million.
